WEAVING COMMUNITIES OF SUPPORT FOR THE ELDERLY

Pilot project to design a social revitalization strategy in rural areas, generating community networks that will become a strategy for individual, group and community resilience for elderly people living alone in their homes. This strategy includes the co-creation, prototyping and testing of an ICT device based on artificial intelligence that allows them to overcome the digital divide that limits access to services, resources and social relations.

It includes the participatory design, testing and validation of a methodology for individual, group and community intervention supported by new technologies, making it the only comprehensive project of its kind. It involves public and private agents, as the ultimate implementers of the methodology, and the elderly, as the ultimate recipients of the technology to be designed.

The project may be replicated in other locations and for other groups.
